Background:

When the 987.2 Boxster was introduced for the 2009 model year it represented a major mechanical and aesthetic redesign for the platform. The all new 9A1 Engine eliminated all of the potential issues associated with the previous M97 design. It’s 2.9 liter 255 HP Flat 6 Engine offers focused performance and under acceleration the exhaust note is magical especially with the Porsche Sport Exhaust System engaged!  The 6-Speed Manual Gearbox shifts seamlessly, and she handles like a dream due to the mid-engine configuration. This beauty won’t last long and if you miss it, you’ll be waiting a long time to find another one this nice!

On consignment from the second owner who I sold it to in late 2021 is this gorgeous 2011 Porsche 987.2 Boxster with 7-Speed PDK Transmission. I’m fortunate to be able to drive and enjoy many different Porsche Sports Cars through my business, they are all exceptional in their own right/era. Having driven several similar Spyders during sunny afternoons on traffic free country roads all I can say is WOW!  They left a hugely positive impression on me, and I would be hard pressed to consider anything else if I was in the market to add a convertible to my stable.
