I’m excited to offer on consignment this desirable 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera G50 Targa, which represents the last of its generation. Finished in rare Velvet Red Metallic, contrasted by a Cashmere/Black-Partial Leather Interior. The vehicle has had four Florida owners in the last 33 years who added 106k miles. The current owner who has several Porsche’s and is an active PCA (Porsche Club of America) member purchased the car in 2003 at 88k miles for winter pleasure use and it has been stored inside at his residence in Gainesville ever since. At delivery the new owner will receive, three keys, owner’s manual set/folder, maintenance invoices and most of the accessories that were included with the car when new.
Maintenance:
The vehicle has some documented maintenance and stamps in the maintenance booklet going back to 1994.
Highlights include:
2003, at 91k miles, a new 930 Turbo Clutch was installed by Redline Autowerks, Gainesville Florida.
2018, Front Seats restored using new covers from Auto’s International Escondido, CA.

2022, Chris Moore of Autobahn Extremist, Brookline Heights, OH went through the car at a cost of $4,500 to ensure that it was in good order prior to being sold.

Condition:
The car presents very well, I would describe it as mostly original in 3 condition (nice driver) based on the Hagerty Scale, the mileage of 106k and its 33 years of age. The paint with the exception of the hood and bumpers is original with no signs of accident damage, there are a few minor imperfections, consummate with the age and mileage of the vehicle. The Targa top is original/undamaged and in decent condition for 33 years old. The interior is very nice and benefits greatly from the restored front seats, the dashboard is in good condition with only a small crack next to the main light switch. The car starts without effort and drives solidly.
Porsche Parts Added After Delivery:
Porsche 17” Cup II Wheels (as fitted to the later 993)
Porsche Front Lower Bumper Spoiler & Rear Wing
Catalytic Converter Bypass Pipe (Original Catalytic Converter Included)
Blaupunkt Key Largo DM2000 Radio/CD Player
