The 981 is my favorite generation of the Porsche Boxster and this S in Guards Red ticks all the boxes. The 6-cylinder 3.4-liter engine rated at 315 hp has a magical exhaust note under acceleration with PSE (Porsche Sports Exhaust) engaged and provides a substantial increase in performance over the base model. Mated to the silky-smooth, engaging, manual 6-speed gearbox and the mid-engine configuration yields “go-kart” like handing.  All in all, the prefect package.
